He meets the beautiful Hanka (Agnes Petersen), who seems to be the perfect model. Soon the two fall in love with each other, but it is revealed that Hanka is the fianc\u00e9e of Czeslaw's friend Baron Stumberg (Frederick Delius).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The second film by Micha\u0142 Waszy\u0144ski, creator of the legendary&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>The Dybbuk<\/em>&nbsp;, is an adaptation of the erotic and psychological novel by Mieczyslaw Srokowski.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;This Polish-Austrian co-production, realised, among others, in Warsaw, Budapest and Vienna, received international acclaim, winning&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Gold&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Medal at the Nice Film Festival<\/strong>&nbsp;.
